08.04.2025 , Kostenloser Online-WorkshopThe Art of Telling Your Story: A Performance Workshop with Brea Robertson
A great performance is more than just playing your songs—it’s about storytelling, connection, and creating an experience that stays with your audience long after the music fades. In this interactive online workshop, Australian singer-songwriter Brea Robertson will guide you through the art of crafting engaging stage stories, structuring your set for maximum impact, and introducing your songs in a way that truly resonates with listeners.
Whether you’re stepping onto the stage for the first time or looking for fresh inspiration, this session is designed to give you practical tools to enhance your performances. Through hands-on activities—both solo and in small groups—you’ll develop a compelling introduction for yourself or your band, as well as a creative lead-in to a song of your choice. You’ll also have the chance to practice your introductions, receive supportive feedback, and refine your storytelling skills in a collaborative environment.
If you’re looking for practical ways to connect with your audience, make your performances more engaging, and turn casual listeners into real fans, this workshop is for you!
The free workshop takes place in cooperation with Die Musikstation Bonn and is aimed at up–and–coming bands and solo musicians from NRW. The workshop will be led in English but you can choose to craft your stories in German or English.
